Maya-san, through Jizo-dani

Maya-san is Kobe's main mountain alongside of Rokko-san. It has a variety of routes to go up. This time we climb the mountain from Shin-kobe station.
Starting from Shin Kobe station in the Kobe subway, we head for the peak through a route called Jizo-dani. After enjoying a wonderful view from the top, we go down to Oji-koen station in the Hankyu line.
Walking time is about 5-6 hours. It's not a difficult hike technically, but you need to have a good physical strength to join this hike.
Meeting point and time:
Shin Kobe station in the Kobe subway line's ticket gate.
It's not Shinkansen's station. The station is underground, be careful!
Requirements/What to bring:
Lunch, water, rain gear, hiking shoes, flash light (just in case)
