Jurassic Coast Weekend Adventure – UNESCO Coastline
Saturday 22 to Sunday 23 August 2026

Join us for an unforgettable weekend adventure along the legendary Jurassic Coast, one of the most spectacular coastal landscapes in England and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
We will explore dramatic sea cliffs, hidden bays, panoramic viewpoints, white chalk formations, wild beaches and some of the most iconic coastal landmarks in Dorset, including Durdle Door, Lulworth Cove and Old Harry Rocks.
This is not just a hike. It is a full weekend experience with the Hiking in London Club — sea air, adventure, photography, sunsets, laughter, group spirit and unforgettable memories with the Spartans.

What to expect
During the weekend, we will stay together near the coast in shared hostel accommodation, creating a real adventure atmosphere where everyone becomes part of the experience. Breakfast is also included, so we can start the second day together before continuing the coastal adventure.
Expect shared stories, tired legs, sea air, sunsets, cold drinks, random conversations, hiking chaos, good vibes and many moments of laughter.
For one weekend, we become explorers again — almost like a giant scout adventure for adults, but with better views and probably more pub stops.

Day 1 – Durdle Door, Lulworth Cove and coastal adventure
On the first day, we will explore the spectacular coastline around Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove, two of the most iconic natural landmarks in England.
We will walk along dramatic coastal cliffs, hidden beaches and panoramic sea viewpoints while enjoying the wild beauty of the Jurassic Coast together as a group.
With good weather, we hope to finish the day relaxing near the sea with a cold drink, good laughs and the legendary Hiking in London Club tradition…

Day 2 – Old Harry Rocks Adventure

These incredible white chalk sea stacks rise dramatically from the sea and create one of the most iconic landscapes in southern England.
Expect rolling green cliffs, turquoise sea colours, panoramic coastal views and that wild Jurassic Coast atmosphere that makes this place so special.
This will be the perfect ending for an unforgettable weekend full of coastal hiking, adventure, photography, nature and amazing group memories.
