Lucius Birch Natural Area Hike

We will hike for approx 1.5 hours.

Do not follow the map on the Meetup App. The entry to the Lucius Birch Natural Area is across the street from the Circle K station on Germantown Parkway. Walnut Bend is the name of the the street that actually becomes the access rote to Gate 19. There is a sign that says Gate. 19 after you are on the road leading to the natural area.

We will hike 45 minutes in and then return.There will only be one short area that is un-shaded. That area takes about 7 minutes to hike.

Once you enter the parking lot, follow the road as it winds around until you get to the asphalt parking area.
