Details of the Hike
We will meet in Sant Pere de Ribes at 10.00. There is a bus that leaves Sitges at 0950. The bus stop is outside the train station. We'll head out towards the majestic Castle, poised on the hill above Sant Pere. After we will follow the path which will enter a forest then come out onto a wider path. It's quite an uphill climb up the mountain towards El Montgròs. The views of the surrounding countryside and vineyards below are quite stunning. We will then take the path that leads down to Canyelles where we will stop here for our packed lunch and have a drink in a lovely bar near the Castle. We will then head back along a path that will lead us out of Canyelles. Again it's quite a steep path up through the forest to the top. Then it's downhill back down to Sant Pere.
Nos encontraremos en Sant Pere de Ribes a las 10.00. Hay un autobús que sale de Sitges a las 09.50. La parada de autobús está fuera de la estación de tren. Nos dirigiremos hacia el majestuoso Castillo, situado en la colina sobre Sant Pere. Después seguiremos el camino que entrará en un bosque y luego saldrá a un camino más ancho. Es una subida bastante cuesta arriba por la montaña hacia El Montgròs. Las vistas del campo circundante y los viñedos de abajo son bastante impresionantes. Luego tomaremos el camino que baja a Canyelles, donde pararemos aquí para nuestro almuerzo para llevar y tomaremos una copa en un encantador bar cerca del Castillo. Luego regresaremos por un camino que nos llevará fuera de Canyelles. Nuevamente es un camino bastante empinado a través del bosque hasta la cima. Luego es cuesta abajo de regreso a Sant Pere.
