• Description of the Hike

We will meet outside the train station in Sitges, by the bus stop, at 09.00. We'll then head down to the beach where we'll walk right along Passeig Marítim to the Terramar Hotel. We'll pick up the GR92, the coastal path that leads to Vilanova. It's quite an easy path through rocks and scrubland, at times ascending and descending. The views of the sea and the many peaceful coves below are quite spectacular. The route back to Sitges is through Miralpeix, the lush, Mediterranean forest adjoining Sitges and Vilanova. We'll pass the beautiful lighthouse, El Far de Sant Cristòfol, before starting the return route. It's an easy path, at times quite wide with stunning views of the sea and at times entering into the shady forest. We'll arrive back at the golf course and continue back along the Passeig Marítim. If people wish to, we can stop along the way for a drink.
Nos reuniremos fuera de la estación de tren de Sitges, junto a la parada de autobús, a las 09.00. Nos dirigiremos a la playa y caminaremos por el Passeig Marítim junto a la playa, hasta llegar al Hotel Terramar. Tomaremos el GR92, el sendero costero que lleva a Vilanova. Es un camino bastante fácil que atraviesa rocas y matorrales, a veces ascendiendo y descendiendo. Las vistas del mar y de las numerosas y tranquilas calas que hay debajo son espectaculares. Al llegar a Vilanova, comenzaremos la caminata de vuelta a Sitges. Esta vez el camino de vuelta es a través de Miralpeix, el frondoso bosque mediterráneo que linda con Sitges y Vilanova. Pasaremos por el hermoso faro, El Far de Sant Cristòfol, antes de iniciar la ruta de vuelta. Es un camino fácil, a veces bastante amplio con impresionantes vistas al mar y a veces adentrándose en el bosque sombreado. Llegaremos de nuevo al campo de golf y seguimos por el Passeig Marítim otra vez. Si la gente lo desea, podemos parar en el camino para tomar algo.
