Hi everyone! We’re going on a fun and relaxing hike to Xiaozishan Mountain next to Pingxi Old Street in New Taipei City.
🔴Features Xiaozishan is famous for its unique rocky peaks. The mountain is not very high, but the view is beautiful and wide. From the top, you can overlook the whole mountain town of Pingxi. Although the trail feels a little exciting, it is not too difficult because there are well-built stairs and safety rails along the way. Near Xiaozishan, there are also small waterfalls and streams that help you forget the crowded city life of Taipei. If you’re looking for a little adventure while enjoying a relaxing hike, we’d love to have you join us.
🔴Hiking Route 10-minute walk from Pingxi Train Station ↓ Arrive at Xiaozishan Trail Entrance ↓ Start hiking Xiaozishan (about 360 meters high) ↓ Reach Cimu Peak (about 410 meters high) ↓ Cien Ridge (about 380 meters high) ↓ Follow the circular trail ↓ Return to Pingxi Train Station

🔴Transportation Information (From Taipei Main Station) Pingxi requires one train transfer at Ruifang Station. Please follow the steps below: Taipei Main Station ↓ Take TRA Local Train No. 4178 Departure time: 11:22 AM ↓ Arrive at Ruifang Station at 12:16 PM ↓ Transfer to the TRA Pingxi Line ↓ Take Pingxi Line Local Train No. 4178 Departure time: 12:50 PM ↓ Arrive at Pingxi Station at 1:50 PM Please make sure you arrive before the 2:00 PM meeting time.
🔴Important Notes This hike is completely free, and English guidance will be provided. ●Please wear comfortable walking shoes. ●Bring a light jacket, as it may be windy or cool on the mountain. ●Bring enough drinking water and some snacks. This is a relaxed and friendly group hike. Everyone is welcome. Feel free to join us and enjoy a nice afternoon in nature together.
