Why Yinhe Cave Waterfall?
This hiking plan gives you both nature and culture in one trip!
We will explore a hidden waterfall and enjoy famous Maokong tea with a great mountain view.

A: Yinhe Cave Waterfall (銀河洞瀑布)
Yinhe Cave Waterfall is one of the most special waterfalls in the southern part of Taipei.
There is a small Taoist temple built under the cliffs, right next to the waterfall.
You can hear water falling beside you while standing at the temple.
It feels peaceful and very different from the busy city.
Don’t worry, the hiking is not too hard.
We ride the Maokong gondola up to the mountain first, then walk a short mountain path to reach the waterfall.

B: Maokong Tea Time
After the hike, we will rest and drink Maokong’s famous tea.
This area is well-known for oolong tea, Baozhong tea, and many local tea flavors.
Relax with fresh air and beautiful scenery.
