淡水山仔頂＆向天山草原健行 Shanziding & Mt. Xiangtian Hike

#Feature
The Shanziding Trail in Tamsui, New Taipei City, is an old mountain trail that people once used to travel between Beitou and North New Tapei.
The hike usually starts from Tianyuan Temple (天元宮) and passes through small villages and old houses before reaching the trail entrance.

Along the way, hikers can enjoy natural forest paths and lookout points with beautiful views of the coast around Tamsui, Shimen, and Sanzhi.

The trail ends near Xiangtianchi Lake (向天池) Mountain in Yangmingshan National Park.
The total elevation gain is nearly 700 meters, so it is a great trail for leg training and improving fitness.

#Route Plan
Tianyuan Temple(天元宮) → Shanziding Trail Entrance(山仔頂登山步道) → Xiangtian Mountain( 向天山)
→ Return to Tianyuan Temple by the same route

Enough water, Towel, Comfortable Walking Shoes , Lunch and so on.

#How to get There
We will meet at Tamsui MRT station then transfer to the bus no. 875 and estimated 20 mins to arrive at the entrance Tianyuan Temple (天元宮)
