Yingge Rock & Bilong Temple Trail (鶯歌石＆碧龍宮登山步道)

Hi everyone!, this time, we're going to Yingge District (鶯歌區), New Taipei City (新北市) for a relaxing and scenic hike.
The trail is mostly made up of stone steps and natural paths, making it suitable for most people.
The Yingge Rock Trail (鶯歌石步道) offers a perfect mix of nature, light exercise, beautiful viewpoints, and local culture.
If you're looking for an easy outdoor adventure near Taipei, this is a great choice!

Normal (Suitable for most hikers)
Hiking time: About 4 hours
Distance: Approximately 2.6 km one way
(5.2 km round trip)*** Elevation: About 240 meters
Walking time to trail entrance: About 10 minutes

●Route
Yingge Railway Station (鶯歌車站)
→ Hongde Temple (宏德宮) (about 10 minutes on foot)
→ Sunlong Trail (孫龍步道)
→ Yingge Rock Formations (鶯歌奇岩)
→ Scenic Viewpoint (觀景台)
→ Bilong Temple (碧龍宮)
→ Unique 3D Painted Stairs (3D彩繪階梯)

●Transportation
We will travel together by train.
Train: Local Train No. 1167
Departure: 11:25 AM from Taipei Main Station (台北車站)
Arrival: 11:52 AM at Yingge Station (鶯歌車站)

You can simply use your EasyCard (悠遊卡)no need to purchase a ticket in advance.

#What to bring
At least 2 liters of water (the weather is expected to be hot)
Towel
Comfortable walking shoes
Lunch or snacks
Sunscreen, hat, and other sun protection
