Lillian Lakes via Galatea Creek

If anyone didn’t go crazy this week with the lockdown and cold weather, congrats! Let’s get out and do a hike to regain some sanity. Weather looks better with a high of -10 on Sunday.

Let’s aim to meet at the Galatea parking lot at 9am and head up to Lillian Lake. 13km and 600m elevation. I haven’t done this one in a while, but the most recent reviews on AllTrails suggest about 5 hours round trip. Bring some spikes, snacks, water, and maybe even a hot beverage for the return!

Also, it’s Valentine’s Day so chances of seeing some frisky squirrels is likely.
