About your guide:
Sal was born and raised in Germany but moved to Rome over 15 years ago.
With a background in technology and the entertainment industry, he needed to escape his daily routines. Before his "transformation" over the last 10 years, he was fighting regular burnout, stress, and depression due to long, intense working hours and a city lifestyle until found a way to reconnect with nature.
Nature became his new passion and obsession.
Today, Sal researches and inspects the best trails to organize outdoor events on a weekly basis, where he will guide you and your friends along breathtaking trails – while explaining the natural aspects and wildlife around us, and how they interact with the local culture.
All hikes come with an international flair, as Sal will conduct them in English, German and Italian and will incorporate some of his entertainment skills to keep the spirits lifted.
A very important aspect of all experiences is the safety of all participants. Sal follows strict guidelines and the values of the biggest hiking Association in Italy, which he is a member of (AIGAE). So you can focus on enjoying your hike, Sal takes care of everything else!
Hike different and discover the wild side of Italy!
