Hobson bay walkway, Orakei basin and Kepa bush

Hello everyone,
This Saturday we are going to explore what Auckland has to offer without travelling too far afield,
We will meet at Parnell Rose gardens and walk towards Judges bay, then walk down to Hobson bay walkway and walk towards Orakei basin. We will then follow the shared Te Ara ki Uta ki Tai path towards Kepa bush. Then we will make our way back and finish at Rose gardens. The total walk will take between 4 to 5 hours to complete inclusing stops.
We can stop at a cafe mid point for lunch or snacks.
Toral distance: Up to 13 km
Toral time: 4-5 hrs
Terrain: Mxed, gravel, boardwalks and some streets.
Difficulty: Easy to medium, 2.5 on the difficulty scale. You must be able to keep up with the group at a medium pace.
What to bring: Lunch, snacks, water, sun block and sun hat, first aid items, wear comfortable shoes and clothes that you feel comfortable to walk in.
Please bring $5 donation to contribute to the running of this group, especially if you are new and this is your first event with us.
Meet at 9.30 am at 102 Gladstone Road, Parnell, oppostite the hotel.
