Yosemite Day Adventure — Hike, Explore & Meet New People

Hey everyone! 👋
Since the group is growing, I think it’s time we actually get out and do our first adventure!
I’m planning a Yosemite day trip focused on hiking, exploring, meeting new people, photography/videos, and just having a good time outdoors. 🏔️🥾📸
Possible plans:
🥾 Beginner/moderate hike
🌊 Swimming if we find a safe and permitted area
📸 Photography/videos/content
🍔 Food/grilling at a designated picnic area if conditions and park rules allow
🌅 Exploring Yosemite Valley
🏕️ Possibly camping for one night if people are interested and we can secure a campsite
This isn’t a guided tour and I’m not a professional hiking guide — I’m also looking to explore and meet people who want to do this together. We’ll choose activities appropriate for the group and everyone should be comfortable taking responsibility for their own fitness, equipment and safety.
🚗 Transportation / carpooling
We’ll coordinate carpools from the Modesto area.

DRIVER — if you can drive + how many passengers you can take
NEED A RIDE — if you’re looking for a seat
MEET THERE — if you’ll drive yourself
Carpooling is voluntary and arranged between members. Passengers should help their driver with gas/parking expenses.
🏕️ Camping
The main plan will work as a day trip. If the vibe is good and enough people want to stay overnight, we may camp for one night only if we have a legal campsite/reservation arranged beforehand.
We’ll confirm camping before the trip — we’re NOT going to arrive and randomly camp somewhere in the forest.
Who is this for?
Anyone who enjoys outdoor adventures and is physically comfortable with the activities we choose. I’m especially hoping to connect with people in their 20s/30s who are into hiking, exploring, photography, videos and spontaneous adventures, but everyone who fits the activity level and respects the group is welcome.
Bring water, hiking shoes, food/snacks, sun protection and anything else listed once the exact itinerary is finalized.
