Ember began soloing for the 120-member Agape Intl Choir at the age of 3. At age 11, I took her for a lesson with my coach, Robert Edwards, a well-respected and loved vocal instructor, and he said,
"She's a singer."
"I'm a singer," I said.
"Well, she's a singer like Babe Ruth was a baseball player."
"Oh."
