🐍🏞️ Snake Lake Quake around Sneekermeer, Friesland 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

Hoooooi, hoe giet it? 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈

We are finally making it WAY up North to visit the province of Fryslân/Friesland for the first time 🐄⛸️ it won't be icy enough to skate the famous Frisian lakes but we can at least walk along one. So dust of your Frisian language skills and join us to visit queer-sounding, watery places like Grutte Potten, Kruiswetter and Grienedyk (unfortunately we miss out on Pikmeer :( )

We start gathering at Utrecht Centraal (beneath the light cloud art installation inside of the station) at 9:00, where the train will depart at 09:21 to Leeuwarden. From there, we will take the Arriva train to Sneek where our hike will start around 11:45. We will end the hike at bus stop Oudeschouw, from where we will take a bus to a train station (Grou-Jirnsum or Akkrum).

The hike is about 14.5 km long, and we think it will take us about 4 hours to complete.

Pack your:
🥾 sturdy shoes
🍱 lunch box & snacks
🚰 water
🧥 rain coat/umbrella
🏳️‍🌈 anything else you might need

If you signed up and cannot make it in the end, please cancel your attendance so we know how many people will show up.
