🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️🕯️ Once upon a frightful twilight, a coven of queers gathered to hike beneath the whispering trees of the Lochemse Berg... 🌲💀

🎃🧙‍♀️ Theme: Halloween Realness. Bring subtle witchy, ghostly, or glam-spooky attire (think “forest spirit serving looks” 👠🪄). We’ll take a cauldron’s worth of cute and creepy photos along the way. 🧉

✨👻 Join our Witchy Haunted Hike of the Witte Wieven! 🔮✨
From Lochem station, we’ll ascend the mysterious Lochemse Berg, where mist drifts like silk scarves on a dance floor and ancient oaks seem to gossip about whoever just passed by (probably us, darling 🌬️🧙🏻‍♀️). As we wander, we’ll make our way toward the Witte Wievenkoele, a shadowy pit said to be home to the Witte Wieven — spectral women from local legend who bewitched travelers with ghostly glam and mysterious vibes. Sounds fab!
Rumour has it they rise on foggy nights, draped in white, to spin their tales and steal hearts... and maybe your eyeliner 💅✨ But don’t worry, our queer coven knows how to handle a haunting: with charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and hiking boots.

🥾 The route is 14km (about 3.5-4h) and takes us through rolling woods, quiet meadows, and those hauntingly beautiful Gelderland landscapes that look straight out of a fairytale... if that fairytale had queer hikers, snacks, and a soundtrack of cackling laughter echoing through the trees.

🚆 Travel schedule: Train to Apeldoorn (direction Enschede) at 10:37 (platform 12) ➡️ arrival at Apeldoorn at 11:16 ➡️ train to Zutphen at 11:23 (platform 2) ➡️ arrival in Zutphen at 11:37 (platform 3) ➡️ train to Lochem (direction Oldenzaal, platform 2b) at 11:39 ➡️ Arrival in Lochem at 11:50
❗You can also travel on your own from another direction and meet us along the way or in Lochem.

🚗 If you come by car, you can park at P+R Stationsweg Lochem. Please arrive by 11:50!

🚶🏾After a round of introductions, we start walking around 12:00

🏁 We finish our hike at Lochem station as well, from where we catch the train back to Utrecht.
