Stepstone Falls and Pine Top Ski Area

There will be hills and some muddy trails with roots and rocks on this hike. Good footwear is appropriate, please. Be sure to bring plenty of water and snacks. We leave promptly at 9:00.

We will start at the Escoheag Trail Trailhead parking area and hike along the Wood River up to Stepstone Falls and the Pine Top ski area. Explore an old ski resort! There are some structures still around - snow pipe holders, circuit breaker house, remains of lift and snow making machine building. From there we will hike along a portion of the Tippecansett Trail down to the old picnic area shelter and then back.
