Over Big River and Through the Woods hike
Details
This will be a moderately paced P-loop hike within Big River Management Area - Northwest. This is a section of Big River Management that many hikers probably have not hiked before and most of the trails are not listed on AllTrails. The trail goes through a pine forest with beautiful river and pond views along the way to Zeke's Bridge and Johnson's Pond. We will return along the west side of Big River and around Reynolds Pond to Kitts Corner and back. Total distance will be around 7-8 miles and the terrain will not be overly hilly.

Elevation Gain: Approx. 400 ft
Duration: Approx. 3 to 3.5 hours
Blaze Orange hat or vest is required.
Tick repellent is highly recommended.
As always, bring sufficient water and snacks along for the hike.

Parking will be on the north side of Nooseneck Hill Road (Rt 3) in the vicinity of 2-31 Kitts Corner Rd in West Greenwich and is near Big River Bridge No. 034, approximately 2/3 of a mile east of Weaver Hill Rd.
