N/umberland countryside, bypassing 3 different pubs on the Tyne Valley hillside

*Approximately 8 miles, moderate. (not suitable for dogs. re stiles, and livestock)

We will meet at Stocksfield Train Station. It is a payment carpark, using the Ringo app. (free for those who get the train Obvs! 🙂👍) **IMPORTANT There is no bank card or cash payment machine, so you will only be able to pay to park in this carpark, by downloading the Ringo app to your phone. please make sure you have done so beforehand, if you intend to use this carpark. It will only cost £2.40, but is ONLY payable via the online Ringo app.
We will be setting off promptly at 10 am, so please allow yourself plenty travel time 🙂

We will 'weave' our way up through Stocksfield village edges, and make our way up over farmland towards Whittonstall where we will pass the Anchor Inn. We will then make our way across farmland and woodland towards Hedley on the Hill where we will pass the Feathers pub. We then make our decent back down the valley side passing the Doctor Syntax pub, as we continue our walk back towards our starting point at Stocksfield Train Station.

Please bring your own refreshment so we can sit for a ponder mid route.
