N/umberland countryside, bypassing 3 different pubs on the Tyne Valley hillside

Details
Approximately 8 miles, moderate.
We will meet at Stocksfield Train Station. It is a payment carpark, using the Ringo app. (free for those who get the train Obvs! ππ) We will be setting off promptly at 10 am, so please allow yourself plenty travel time π
We will 'weave' our way up through Stocksfield village edges, and make our way up over farmland towards Whittonstall where we will pass the Anchor Inn. We will then make our way across farmland and woodland towards Hedley on the Hill where we will pass the Feathers pub. We then make our decent back down the valley side passing the Doctor Syntax pub, as we continue our walk back towards our starting point at Stocksfield Train Station.
Please bring your own refreshment so we can sit for a ponder mid route.
*Just a reminder to any new folk attending, to read the groups initial joining up disclaimer π we are not qualified walk leaders, and all participants are responsible for their own health and safety, for the entirety, including travel to and from the event/gathering. We are simply a group of like-minded friends heading out for a walk in the same direction βΊοΈ
**please make sure you are fit enough to attend the event, or take responsibility to amend your participation if preferring to create a shorter route for yourself πβ π
***dogs must be kept on a lead, and owners adhere to the countryside code (and also to the wishes/needs of other group members) at all times. We are primarily a walking group for hoomans, so dog participants must be kept to a minimum. Do let the walk leader know if you are hoping to bring a dog, so others are aware π
