It Never Rains in Southern California #3 - 4.5 mi, 2.5 hours

Join us on this ramble near the Hollywood Bowl to see old Hollywood. See the festive holiday lights by Rudolph Valentino's house and the stair streets where gumshoes Philip Marlowe and Harry Bosch worked their cases. Just hope it doesn't rain like it always does in film noir thrillers. Work off those holiday calories to prepare for winter adventures by carrying a heavy pack like Saint Nicholas. Meet at the old Starbucks on Highland & Franklin (1900 Highland Ave, LA 90068). Street parking is limited so arrive early. Hint: try a parking lot to the north.
Bring water, adventurous spirit, strong legs, a sharp eye and a love of stair hikes. Flashlight suggested.
