Pacific Spirit Park - toddler/preschool edition

Location: Sasamat trail entrance at 33rd ave and Camosun st

Duration: 1-2 hours depending on the speed of the children and how much the group wants to toddle with them

Difficulty: this is a flat trail. Mostly dirt with some roots. There is a short gravel portion. Regular strollers can handle this trial. Small, light travel stroller cannot.

Our goal is to make this fun for the kids, so there will be lots of stopping to pick up sticks or look at cool leaves.

Please arrive on time. We will begin our hike after a 5 min grace period for late comers

The route will have 2 public bathroom locations: one very close to our parking location and one about half way through the hike.

We will stop at the Sasamat picnic area for a snack/lunch at the end of the hike. Please dont feel obligated to stay for this. If you do want to join us, bring your own food, drinks, and picnic blanket.

Dogs are allowed on all our hikes. Dog leash laws must be strictly followed. We may ask you to leash your dog even on an off leash trail if any of the children are afraid of him/her.
