Notch Visitor's Center to Amherst Conservation Loop Hike
Details
This will be an easy loop hike from the Notch visitor's center through Amherst Conservation land. It will be approximately 2 hours with the option to extend the length through the Sweet Alice Conservation land if desired. The hike will include some short sections of easy to moderate climbing on some trails. The hike is limited to 5 dogs but feel free to bring an additional human friend along.
Hikers with dogs who participate must comply with the following rules:
- Only one dog allowed per person.
- Dogs must be kept on a 6 foot leash at all times (No retractable leashes).
- Dogs must be well behaved and under the control of their owner.
- Dog owners are solely responsible for any harm, injury, or damage caused by their dog or to their dog, and accept all risks associated with participating in this group's activities.
Important Note: If your dog is aggressive, highly reactive, not socialized, or interprets barking as a threat and responds viciously, this is not the right group for you. Dogs should enjoy being around other dogs, and owners should understand basic dog behavior and socialization.
