PARKING
Meet at the Monte Bello Preserve Parking Lot (across from the trail head- there's a restroom in the lot) 37.32583217272125, -122.17878904424678. Plenty of parking there.

DETAILS
~7mile loop trail near Portola Valley, California. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes about 3hr to complete. This is a super trail in Los Trancos Open Space Preserve. The trail offers stunning views of rolling hills and takes you through beautiful scenery featuring mature oak and bay trees, chaparral, and meadows. Along the trail, look for wildlife such as squirrels, deer, and badgers. The path is mainly shaded and provides a gradual elevation gain throughout.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Total ~850ft of elevation gain. We will lopp and criss-cross a few trails with gradual uphill and downhill. The hike is part shaded and part exposed. It is expected to be a sunny day in mid to upper 50s, may be cooler in AM. So be prepared, wear layers and bring water!l
