PARKING
Park in Muir Beach parking lot where we meet near the brathrooms. Plenty of parking there but come early to reserve your spot as sometimes it can be unpredictable.

DETAILS
9.1-mile loop trail near Muir Beach, California. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, and takes ~4 hours to complete.

WHAT TO EXPECT
During the first ~2.5 miles we will ascend 850ft. For the next 3 miles we will descend down to Tennessee Beach, then loop back and ascend 550ft over the next mile before mostly descending to Pirate's Cove where we will have the option to take a dip. After climbing out of the cove, we will gradually climb back up to the ridge and then back down to our cars. There will be a couple of steep inclines on this trail. The hike is unshaded. Be prepared and wear layers as the forecast is for 61 degrees. Please bring at least 1.5 liters of water.

Gogle Maps are accurate. You can also use the following GPS coordinates to the Muir Beach parking lot (37.86173109545775, -122.57529892179726). We will assemble and start in the parking lot.
