SUNDAY ~8.5mile moderate hike at Windy Hill Open Space and LUNCH at Alice's

9AM START. BE ON TIME.

PARKING
Park at parking lot (GPS meeting point) on skyline blvd, Rt 35. Come early for parking. If lot is full, park along skyline. We will meet at the Anniversary Trail Picnic Tables

DETAILS
Hamms Gulch, Eagle Trail, and Lost Trail Loop is a 8.4 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Portola Valley that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate.

WHAT TO EXPECT
First couple of miles are mostly flat. We will descend the next 3miles ~1,00ft. Then ascend 1,150ft next 3 miles, then mostly flat back to car. The hike is mostly shaded, with some areas of poison oak. It is expected to be a nice sunny day with highs in upper 50s, so wear layers, bring sunscreen and water!

Use GPS to find coordinates of meeting point below. We will meet at the Anniversary Trail Picnic Tables. Meeting point is in parking lot where the GPS location marker is.
