Laurel Hill West Arboretum, Cynwyd Heritage Trail, & The Landing Kitchen

Details
2-3 hours, 4-7 miles, Landing Kitchen area, cemetery, Cynwyd Heritage Trail
Laurel Hill West Cemetery is also considered an arboretum. It has miles of trails and is connected to a park(no name), the Cynwyd Heritage Trail and a very nice neighborhood. Many very famous contemporaries are buried here like Pew, of Pew Trust and Sonoco, Teddy Pendergast, Billy Paul, the former President of Drexel, the father of baseball, and the inventor of bubble gum and baseball cards (Frank Fleer), Grover Washington Jr, and about 10 professional baseball players amongst other famous people.
On the way to the cemetery we'll go by the Landing Kitchen restaurant area which is totally incredible. The hotel and restaurant were built around the remains of an old steel plant and designed to fit in. Seeing is believing. We may stop there for a bite.
