Pinball Bakery Hike, Historic Hopewell Village to St Peters Village

Details
3.5-4 hours, 8-10 miles, historic site visit possible, option for lunch at St Peters Village Bakery. There's also a vintage pinball parlor that charges a whopping 25¢ per 2 plays. Lots of fun.
We meet next to the National Park Visitors Center in Historic Hopewell Furnace Village which has a large parking area. Nice bathrooms. The historic village itself is worth exploring. Structures include a restored blast furnace, workers cottages, a farm with animals, a barn, and the estate mansion. All are open. Sometimes they have historic reenactments and demonstrations. You could easily visit for 1-2 hours.
The Hopewell Furnace area has over 70 miles of trails which includes French Creek Pk, Warwick Park, Welkinweir, and the Horseshoe Trail which goes both north and south. We've only begun to explore this area. However, the Pinball Bakery Hike takes us south through Crows Nest Preserve, which is one of the nicest area I've hiked. Often we loop back through Crows Nest Preserve then drive over to St Peters Village.
