Green Ribbon Trail, Upper Wissahickon Area Exploration, 8-10 miles

3-4 hours, 8-10 miles, brisk pace, trails along creek and some streets, lots of shade

The upper Wissahickon Green Ribbon Trail runs right along the Wissahickon. The views are fantastic. We pass by several other trails systems and often vary our route depending on conditions.
We've seen lots of large hawk-like birds here. Once we saw an osprey like bird. In warmer weather the trail is often lined with blackeyed and susans and other wildflowers.

Carpooling
To carpool from Hill House (201 W Evergreen Ave, Phila) meet 30 minutes before the event. Carpool time changes if hike time changes. Text me 215-2474459, 3-4 days in advance.
