Mercer County Park Hidden Trails

Details
3-3.5 hours, 8-10 miles, brisk pace, small hills, beautiful landscapes, mostly dirt trails, lots of shade
One of our few hikes that is not hilly. Part of our route takes us around Mercer Lake where will have beautiful views of the lake and surrounding areas. We then head over to a not well-known loop of really neat hidden trails.
Per the photo, on one winter hike we encountered about 6 bald eagles, a flock of great blue herons, which is quite unusual, and many other birds.
I've never visited a park with more recreational activities. We will pass by many of these which include a volleyball center, basketball courts, a rowing center, an ice skating center, a tennis complex, a disc golf course, regular golf course, softball fields, a cricket field, baseball fields, a dog park, etc. There is also a nature center and preserve and a golf course, that we have been escorted off of when we attempted a loop hike around the lake.
