Big Apple Xmas Walk

11am to 7pm, 6-8 miles, every cool place between Columbus Circle and Little Italy/Chinatown.

Tentative Route and Sites
From Penn Station we'll stop at Hudson Yards for a bite before heading downtown via the High Line, Chelsea, Greenwich Village, NYU to the Little Italy/Chinatown area. We'll take the train or walk uptown to the Columbus Circle area. The trip is planned so we head back in the dark via 5th Avenue viewing the incredible windows of the high class stores like Bergdorf Goodman. We'll switch to Broadway near Rockefeller Center, then walk through a not crowded Times Square (a treat at night) on the way back to Penn Station.

Why are we going on a weekday? NYC Xmas areas like Rockefeller Center are too crowded on weekends. No way to even walk through.

DETAILS
We meet at the Hamilton Station of NJ Transit at 1030am next to ticket counter to take the 10:55 am train arriving 12:09 pm at Penn Station NYC. If you board elsewhere meet us in the back car of the train, upstairs if its a double-decker. In NYC you can meet us at 1245 pm outside the bathrooms of the separate NJ Transit part of the station. Return Trip: We plan to take the 652 pm train from Penn Station.

Carpooling
Carpooling To carpool from Hill House (201 W Evergreen Ave, Phila) meet 1 hour before the event. Carpool time changes if hike time changes. Text me (215 247 4459) 3-4 days in advance.
