Pokadot Chicken Stream Walk at Baldpate Mt

3-4 hrs, 8-10 miles, some steep hills, varied beautiful area, some exploring, creek valley exploration, pokadot chicken farm (50-60 multi-colored chickens), color fresh eggs for sale (not Easter eggs).

There are many cool routes around Baldpate Mtn. Recently a new section of trails opened up which I think are fun to explore. The trails vary greatly: some are very small, single file, some large. Some trails twist and turn and go up and down. Some just go up and up with some downs too. At one point, if we have a clear day we'll be able to see for 50-100 miles. In one area we'll walk right along a bubbling creek. We'll cross on rocks or on newly built small stone bridge which might still be standing.

Carpooling
To carpool from Hill House (201 W Evergreen Ave, Phila) meet 1 hour before the event. Carpool time changes if hike time changes. Text me (215 2474459) 3-4 days in advance.
