Hidden Lagoon Wickecheoke (in the) Creek Walk

3.5 hours, 9-11 miles, some big hills
This is a beautiful area with trails along creek and even in the creek. Often we hike on small roads without traffic, sometimes on small trails, sometimes easy bushwhacking. We'll visit a hidden lagoon near a historic house then bop over to the very hidden Rittenhouse graveyard circa 1720.
We pass a farm with South African goats, ponies, donkeys, etc. If we stand around a bit they will all come over to the fence to be petted. Sometimes we go by a community under 300 foot cliff. Surrealistic.
Each hike here is a different experience. The creek walk is only doable if the water is low. (Photo is from Gulf Hagas Preserve in Maine.)
Carpooling
To carpool from Hill House (201 W Evergreen Ave, Phila) meet 1 hour before the event. Carpool time changes if hike time changes. Text me (215 2474459) 3-4 days in advance.
