Bluebell Outburst, Brandy Meadow Preserve Area & Beyond Exploration
Details
3-3.5 hours, 8-9 miles, very hilly, 10,000 bluebells on spring hike.
We will explore Brandywine Meadows Preserve, Harmony Hill Nature Area, M John Johnson Nature Center, and Ingram's Mill Nature Area.
The trails are great and varied. Sometimes will will be on winding trails going up a ravine. Sometimes along a creek. Sometimes we will be trekking through a incredibly green meadow plateau. The area is beautiful and very interesting. We may even see an incredible overlook. We will also visit the ruins of Englamere Farm. Fun area to hike.
CARPOOLING
To carpool from Hill House (201 W Evergreen Ave, Phila) meet 1 hour before the event. Carpool time changes if hike time changes. Text me 215-2474459, 3-4 days in advance. Chip in for gas and tolls.
