Su entorno ofrece rutas sencillas y panorámicas que combinan montaña e historia.
🌿 Detalles de la Caminata
Empezaremos nuestra ruta subiendo desde el Puerto de Navacerrada siguiendo una senda que nos llevará a un pico con vistas espectaculares, no te olvides traer tus prismaticos.
También podremos observar el famoso Pico de la Maliciosa, el embalse de Navacerrada y el propio Valle de la Barranca. Una vez llegados al cerro de las Guarramillas (Bola del Mundo), también lugar de nacimiento del rio Manzanares descenderemos poco a poco hasta llegar de nuevo al Puerto de Navacerrada, donde podremos tomarnos unos deliciosos churros con chocolate antes de partir a Madrid.Distancia 8 km approx

The area offers easy, scenic trails that combine mountain scenery and history.
🌿 Hike Details
We’ll start our hike by ascending from Puerto de Navacerrada along a trail that leads to a peak with spectacular views—don’t forget to bring your binoculars.
We’ll also be able to see the famous Pico de la Maliciosa, the Navacerrada Reservoir, and the Barranca Valley itself. Once we reach Cerro de las Guarramillas (Bola del Mundo)—also the source of the Manzanares River—we’ll gradually descend back to the Navacerrada Pass, where we can enjoy some delicious churros with hot chocolate before heading back to Madrid.Distance: approx. 8 km

Únete a nosotros en esta deliciosa aventura y disfruta de la naturaleza en este paseo a caballo de 1 hora en la maravillosa zona norte de Madrid. No importa si eres relativamente nuevo en la equitación o un profesional experimentado en la silla de montar, ya que cada paseo estará dirigido por un jinete calificado, asegurando que tengas toda la ayuda y el apoyo que necesitas.
La ruta hasta la hípica donde montaremos a caballo está a unos 50 minutos caminando approx desde donde nos deja el bus. Muy fácil y llana, con impresionantes vistas y el hermoso paisaje de la Sierra de Guadarrama.
Disfruta del aire fresco y saborea los mejores vinos de Madrid que nos esperan al final del recorrido, mientras disfrutas de las vistas más increíbles y haces nuevos amigos.

It doesn’t matter if you’re relatively new to horseback riding or an experienced rider—each ride will be led by a qualified guide, ensuring you have all the help and support you need.
The route to the riding center where we’ll go horseback riding is about a 50-minute walk from where the bus drops us off. It’s very easy and flat, with breathtaking views and the beautiful scenery of the Sierra de Guadarrama.
Enjoy the fresh air and savor the best wines Madrid has to offer, which await us at the end of the ride, while taking in the most incredible views and making new friends.

Estas impresionantes formaciones de tierra rojiza, conocidas como badlands, fueron esculpidas por la erosión del agua y el viento durante miles de años. El resultado es un paisaje espectacular de pináculos, aristas y cañones que te hará sentir como si caminaras por Arizona… ¡pero sin salir de España!
🌍 ¿Sabías que Las Cárcavas se encuentran justo bajo el Pontón de la Oliva, una de las primeras presas construidas en Madrid en el siglo XIX? Es un lugar donde la historia y la geología se dan la mano en un entorno natural impresionante.
🌿 Detalles de la Caminata
Nuestra ruta será de aprox. 15 km, con desnivel moderado pero accesible para la mayoría. El esfuerzo vale totalmente la pena, ya que desde lo alto de las cárcavas tendremos unas vistas panorámicas increíbles de la Sierra Norte.

These impressive reddish-earth formations, known as badlands, were sculpted by water and wind erosion over thousands of years. The result is a spectacular landscape of pinnacles, ridges, and canyons that will make you feel like you’re walking through Arizona… but without ever leaving Spain!
🌍 Did you know that Las Cárcavas is located right below the Pontón de la Oliva, one of the first dams built in Madrid in the 19th century? It’s a place where history and geology come together in a stunning natural setting.
🌿 Hike Details
Our route will be approximately 15 km, with moderate elevation gain but accessible to most. The effort is totally worth it, as from the top of the gullies we’ll enjoy incredible panoramic views of the Sierra Norte.

En este emblemático lugar se encuentra la cima de Madrid, el pico más alto de la Sierra de Guadarrama. Considerado Sitio Natural de Interés Nacional por su importante valor ecológico, histórico y paisajístico. ⛰️ 🐐🎖️
Una ruta apta para los más valientes y con buenas condiciones físicas, ya que subiremos hasta el pico de Peñalara a una altura de 2428 m de altura, en uno de los enclaves naturales más bellos de la sierra, donde disfrutamos de increíbles vistas, lagunas glaciares, verdes praderas y con suerte, podremos ver a sus habitantes más insignes: las cabras montesas. 🐐
A la mitad del recorrido, haremos un picnic para descansar, comer y disfrutar las vistas y empezar nuestro retorno.

This iconic location is home to the highest peak in Madrid and the highest point in the Sierra de Guadarrama. It is considered a Natural Site of National Interest due to its important ecological, historical, and scenic value. ⛰️🐐🎖️
This route is suitable for the bravest hikers and those in good physical condition, as we will climb all the way to the Peñalara peak at 2,428 metres above sea level, in one of the most beautiful natural areas of the mountains. Along the way, we will enjoy incredible views, glacial lagoons, green meadows and, if we are lucky, we may even spot some of its most iconic inhabitants: the Iberian ibex. 🐐
Halfway through the route, we will stop for a picnic to rest, eat, enjoy the views, and then begin our return.
