China’s Bamboo Village-Anji County
Anji, located in Zhejiang Province in China’s northwest, is famous for its bamboo and is known as “China’s Bamboo Village.” There are quite many tourist sights here in Anji. But the abundant mountains also make it one of the best hiking place close to Shanghai;

We have been doing many river hiking here in summer time; But spring here is also very nice for hiking in the forest with flowers blossom

Part.1 Trip Information

Time: APR 4-6TH 12026
Qingming FESTIVAL

Location: Anji,Huzhou, Zhejiang, China
Difficulty: Easy
Transportation: Private Bus
Meetup Time/Point: 07:30 morning APR 4TH
Exit 6 , Line1/4 Shanghai Indoor Stadium
Accommodation: Local guesthouse [2ppl/room]

Part.2 Trip Itinerary
Day1
-> Meetup at Exit 6, Line 1/4 Shanghai INDOOR Stadium Metro Station
-> Departure time: 07:30am APR 4th morning [Please be there 5-10mins earier, Thanks]
-> Travel Time: About 250km away, 4 hours driving depends on the traffic. 1 Stop on the way.

Lunch in the local guesthouse; Then Let's go hiking after lunch;

About 6-7km hiking in the afternoon

Around 5pm, we will go back to the guesthouse, check in and take some rest;

Dinner around 6pm;

Bonfire after dinner; Enjoy the night with new and old friends;

Meal: Lunch & Dinner: included - will be provided by local guesthouse ;

Day2
-> Breakfast around 8am
-> Around 9am Let's go hiking after breakfast, about 20-30mins driving to the start point; Today we will hike at Zhangli Ancient Trail - about 12km in all; Enjoy the nature and hiking;
-> Will be back to guesthouse around 4pm, take a shower and good rest;
Dinner around 6pm and then bonfire night with some cold beers~ Cheers~

Bring your own picnic lunch for the hiking

Day3
-> Breakfast around 8am
-> After breakfast, let's check out and then drive to a nice village with rape flowers and cafe; We will have a chill morining here to enjoy the spring flowers and coffee;
It's about 1 hour driving, but on the way back to Shanghai;
10:00 we will arrive at village cafe shop surrounded by flowers; Free time to chill in the cafe or walk around in the village;

12:00 the restarant is about 3km away, we can walk to the restarant; or you can chill more in the cafe and take bus to restarant at 13:00

13:00 lunch time

14:00 We will head back to Shanghai and will be arrival at Shanghai around 5-6pm depends on the traffic; Say goodbye to new and old friends and see you next time;

CANCELLATION
-> For cancellation up to 5 days before departure time, the full deposit will be refunded
-> For cancellation within 5 days of departure time, the deposit will be lost (possibility to transfer it to someone else if you find a person willing to replace you)
-> HikingLovers has the right to adjust the trip schedule based on weather and safety conditions. [Also the Covid-19 situations for now]

Considering that Outdoor hiking trips have some unexpected risks and environmental changes or other uncertainties, the organizer - HikingLovers will buy professional outdoor insurance for all the members before the trip and also will organize rescue for any emergency on site. All the participants have to follow the organization of the trip organizer/ trip leaders/coordinators/Local guide. Otherwise you should bear your own consequences caused by your own mistakes. We hereby declare that the trip organizers will not have any joint liability of the unpredictable accidents caused by Environment or any accidents caused by the participants’ mistake during the hiking trips.

HikingLovers Outdoor Club was founded in May, 2013 by outdoor lovers who loves hiking and kinds of adventure activities! HikingLovers now turned to be an international hiking club. We organized hiking trips and kinds of adventurous acitivities for foreigners and English Speaking ppl living in Shanghai. We want to make the mixculture of “West meets East” .
