Yingtan Mountain - Experience the "Red Sea" of Spring!
This April, join us for an unforgettable journey to the summit of Yingtan Mountain. As the spring breeze awakens the slopes, the mountain transforms into a breathtaking canvas painted with vibrantwild azaleas (Rhododendron simsii). Known locally as "Yingshanhong" (映山红), these flowers blanket the ridges in fiery red and pink, creating a spectacular contrast against the lush green bamboo forests and deep mountain valleys.

Embark on a breathtaking 8-10km loop trail through the lush forests of Jin'e Mountain. This route combines ancient stone paths (Guanyin Ridge Ancient Trail) with scenic ridgelines, offering panoramic views of Ningbo and the distant Xiangshan Bay. A spectacular sea of wild Azaleas (Rhododendron simsii, known as "Yingshanhong") blanketing the slopes and valleys in vibrant shades of pink and red. At the summit, you'll be greeted by the serene Maitreya Buddha statue overlooking the floral tapestry below.

Itinerary

D1-APR 24TH FRIDAY NIGHT
Meetup at Exit 6, Line 1/4 Shanghai INDOOR Stadium Metro Station
-> Departure time: 19:30 [Please be there 5-10 mins earlier, Thanks]
-> Travel Time: About 240km away, about 3.5-4 hours driving depending on the traffic;
We will be arrival around midnight depends on the traffic. Once arrived, Sleep well;

🥗 Meals: NO MEAL, bring your own dinner for bus ride if needed
🛌 Accommodation: Hotel in town - 2ppl/room

D2-APR 25th SAT
Breakfast : Bring your own breakfast or can order breakfast to hotel
Departure: 8:00, about 36km, 50mins driving to hiking spot
9:00 Let's go hiking, about 12km, and we will find a nice spot on the top for lunch picnic;
The hiking might take about 5-6 hours depends on the team speed;

Around 3-4pm, we will finish the hike and head back to the same hotel, take a rest in the hotel and then 7pm we will go for dinner nearby the hotel

Enjoy the night in the small town with new and old friends;

Departure: 8am, about 23km and 30mins driving to the hiking spot
8:30 Let's go hiking, about 10km, might take about 4-5 hours depends on the team speed;

Around 2pm, we will head to the nearest town for lunch; after lunch we will head back to Shanghai, about 250km, 4-5hrs driving depends on the traffic, we will arrival at Shanghai around 7-8pm depends on the traffic;
Say goodbye to old & new friends and see you next time;

-> For cancellation up to 3 days before departure time, the full deposit will be refunded
