Windham Mt

OK this beautiful hike up one the Catskills high peak with one best views at the summit. It is a 6.8 mile round trip hike and yes listed has closed by DEC because of a plane crash in November. Past hiker reports that the trail clear except wreckage and DEC planning open the trail May !. I would say as well please leave wreckage where it found as this may be open investigation site and plane aluminum is sharp and may cause a sever injuries.

The hike will start at 9 am at the trail site on route 23 it is a six mile steady hike with no scrambles. If anyone wants to car pool let me know and i can set up a meet up site. My Past experience with trail is the bottom section can be wet plan accordingly.

This is not beginner hiker but its a good next step if your looking more than beginner hikers. Please all gear necessary for your safety have sufficient water lunch and money if car pooling.
