** Short Notice** Thacher Park North Section Beginner Hike

OK for beginners if you’re able to walk 5 +-miles over rolling and uneven terrain.

We will hike a 5+-mile loop along the Fred Schroeder ,Perimeter, and Long Path trails from the Carrick Rd trailhead at the north end of the park. We will stop along the way at the High Point and Hang Glider lookouts to check out the panaramic views. There are a few short hills and areas of uneven terrain but overall not a lot of elevation change. Although this is a beginner hike you should be doing regular aerobic exercise to participate. Dress for the weather in non-cotton layers and wear hiking boots.No sneakers.

Bring hydration/snacks. Meet at Carrick Rd trailhead 9am Hike starts at 915am.
