We will explore 4+- miles of trails in this Rensselaer Plateau conservation parcel off 90 Stuffle St. in Grafton. It features scenic forest, wetlands, ponds, stone foundations of 19th century houses, a sugar shack and lean-to. Plan to be in the woods 2.5 - 3 hours.** Ok for beginners if you are able to walk 4+-miles over rolling terrain.** Wear appropriate non cotton layered clothing and hiking boots, no sneakers. Also bring lunch (we can eat at the leanto bring a pad to sit on), snacks, hydration .No dogs please. Meet at the trailhead. Carpool if possible.We can stop for ice cream at Stewart’s in Cropseyville after the hike for those interested. Please have emergency contact information in your pocket or outer pocket of your pack.
