Pine Bush 6 miler-Truax and Kings Rd Pine Barrens-Evening Hike

Meet at Pinebush Discovery Center 6 PM hike starts 6:15 PM
Ok for beginners if you are able to walk 6 miles over rolling terrain and do not mind hiking after dark.
* See note below for precautions for a road crossing we will make during this hike*
We will start at the the Albany Pine Bush Discovery Center and work our way over to the Truax Pine Barrens and King Rd Pine Barrens off Kings Rd. Level to rolling terrain, 6+-miles. You should be doing regular aerobic exercise to participate. Dress for weather in non cotton layers and wear hiking boots. Bring headlamp or flashlight , water, snacks .bugspray Check yourself for ticks after the hike. No dogs please. MEET TIME AT DISCOVERY CENTER 600pm HIKE STARTS 615pm. Plan to be in the woods for about 2.5-3 hours.
