Caleb’s Peak, Pond Mountain, and Fuller Pond are located in Kent, Connecticut in close proximity to Macedonia State Park. Pond Mountain and Fuller Pond are located within the Pond Mountain preserve, an 800 acre parcel preserved by the late Myra Hopson. Caleb’s Peak is adjacent to the preserve and located along the Appalachian Trail. At 1332’Summit elevation Pond Mountain provides distant views of the Catskills to the west. At 1150’ Summit elevation. Caleb Peak provides views of the Housatonic Valley. We will climb pond Mountain first, then Caleb Peak, and then finish the hike with a loop around Fuller Pond. Hike is 6+- miles. We will meet at the Defreestville park-and-ride at 6:30 AM to carpool, and we can stop for a late lunch early dinner after the hike.
