Central America Part 1: Costa Rica Voyage Thanksgiving Special (Welcome All!)

This is Part 1 of our trip visiting Central America. We will design the trip that fits everyone (your friends and family can join). They will stay together, but they can do separate activities during the day in the same area that we are hiking (if they don't like to hike). Tentative Itinerary will be: (11 days and 10 nights - Wed Nov 19 to Sat Nov 29). See below for estimate cost of land tour, not include airfare.

1. Days 1 to 2 (https://www.meetup.com/HikingOC/events/218648031/) (Wed Nov 19 to Fri Nov 21): arrive in San Jose area (Metro) for Doka, Poas & La Paz Waterfall and stay at 3.5 stars hotel

2. Days 3 to 5 (https://www.meetup.com/HikingOC/events/218649085/) (Fri Nov 21 to Mon Nov 24): Arenal area (Arenal Volcano and Northern Low Lands) for Arenal Volcano Hike, Tabacon Hot Springs and stay at 3.5 stars hotel, transfer to Monteverde by boat via lake

3. Days 6 to 7 (https://www.meetup.com/HikingOC/events/218650078/) (Mon Nov 24 to Wed Nov 26): Monteverde area (Clouds Forest) for Monteverde Reserve and stay at 3 stars hotel

4. Days 8 to 10 (https://www.meetup.com/HikingOC/events/218650766/) (Wed Nov 26 to Sat Nov 29): Manuel Antonio area (Central Pacific Coast) for Manuel Antonio National Park Tour, beautiful beaches for water sports, relaxing, breathtaking fusion of scenic mountain beauty, an active lifestyle and stay at 3.5 stars hotel

5. Day 11 (Sat Nov 29) back to San Jose for going back LAX or departing to Belize

Estimate cost: $990 per person for double occupancy EXCLUDING airfare (until booking). Contact for cost of single occupancy and triple occupancy

1. Airfare: ~$650 - $800 (not final until booking)

2. Land: include English speaking tour guide, breakfast, transportation (car, boat). Not including all meals and services tips)

3. Allow $250-350 for meals
