New Year Weekend Road Trip to the deserts: Bryce, Valley of Fire SP & Mojave NP

HAPPY NEW YEAR - START 2016 @ DESERTS WONDERLAND OF UT, NV & CA!

Schedule: Jan 1st to Jan 3rd, 2016 (3 days and 2 nights). This is a road trip for short scenic hikes overnights in Bryce, UT and Mesquite, NV.

Itinerary: tentative, depends on weather.

1. Day 1 (Fri/Jan 1st): leave OC early, arrive Bryce, UT.
2. Day 2 (Sat/Jan 2nd): hiking Bryce Canyon NP (https://www.meetup.com/HikingOC/events/227505996/?)
3. Day 3 (Sun/Jan 3rd): short hikes: Valley of Fire State Park (https://www.meetup.com/HikingOC/events/227506287/) and Mojave National Preserve (https://www.meetup.com/HikingOC/events/227506534/), then drive back.

Activities:

Hiking and Sightseeing. We will walk almost every day from 5 to 10 miles depends on the groups, hiking levels and location.

Estimate Cost: $150 - $200 for double occupancy lodging, transportation, but excluding meals.

1. Lodging: 1 night in Bryce and another night half way back (double occupancy, lower cost for 4 persons/room and cost double for single occupancy)
2. Transportation: for 3-4 persons.
