THIS IS A SPECIAL EVENT OF THE WINTER WONDERLAND IN YOSEMITE (https://www.meetup.com/HikingOC/events/228269654/?). After a long day hiking and playing with snow, we shall come to this "special" spot to take time for an exceptional show that rarely happens. After the show, dinner will be next!

MEETING TIME: 4-4:30 PM at El Capitan Picnic area to check out what it is all about! Yosemite Valley Map (http://www.nps.gov/yose/planyourvisit/upload/YOSEmap2.pdf)

This is an article "Published by DL Cade (https://iso.500px.com/author/dl/)" talking about Darvin Atkeson (https://500px.com/Darvin), who captured the stunning photograph above in February of 2014: "Every February, a waterfall named “horsetail falls (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Horsetail_Fall_(Yosemite))” begins to run off the top of the famous El Capitan rock formation (https://iso.500px.com/27-jawdropping-photos-of-el-capitan-to-put-tommy-caldwell-and-kevin-jorgesons-record-setting-free-climb-in-perspective/) in Yosemite National Park. Then, if the conditions are right at sunset, nature pulls of an incredible trick… as if by magic, the thin falls seem to catch fire."
