Day 2 of Fall Foliage Yosemite and 2020 first winter snow storm-AUTUMN/WINTER WONDERLAND TRIP IN YOSEMITE https://www.meetup.com/HikingOC/events/274358653/

DEPARTURE TIME: leaving the lodge at 6:15 AM

Route:
Hike 1: If Glacier Road is closed due to snow:
Optional Snowshoe Hike or hiking on snow to Yosemite's Dewey Point http://www.dowhatyouwantweekends.com/2011/04/dewey-dewey-dewey.html
or hike a little bit on different trails and play with snow and more small hikes in Yosemite Village.
DISTANCE: ~2 to 7 miles (RT)
Duration: 4-5 hours hiking time!
Essential Equipment: Micro spikes, Poles, Gaiters, snowshoes

Hike 2: small hikes in the village for Fall Foliage to Yosemite waterfalls, Vernal Falls, Merced River at Happy Isle, Cook’s Meadows, Sentinel Bridge, Valley View, etc
Distance: about 5+ miles
Duration: 3-4 hours hiking and driving time
Elevation: about 500+ft
