This hike is intended for intermediate to advanced hikers and trail runners. This hike is not suitable for BEGINNERS!

Expect a good workout. Meet some amazing people. Embrace the beauty around us!

• What to bring

Please bring a good attitude, water, light, hat, sunscreen, trek poles if needed.

We will meet at the Pacific Ridge Trailhead.

Meet a new friend, support each other and let's have an awesome workout!

The park closes at sunset so make sure you leave enough juice in the tank to get back in the same amount of time.

This hike is intended for hikers with intermediate to advance experience levels that are looking to share similar paced workout. Please do not hike alone, and the route will be posted weekly prior to the hike.

Sunset is at 8:04 pm, we will have 2 1/2 hours of daylight to work with. Today’s route is an out and back
- Pacific Ridge Trailhead to Bommer Ridge Trail

  • Bommer Ridge Trail to Lizard Trail(1st left)
  • Lizard Trail to Laurel Spur(left)
  • Laurel Spur to Upper Laurel Canyon Trail(left)
  • Laurel Canyon Trail under Rte 73 to Serrano Ridge Trail(right)
  • Serrano Ridge Trail to Camarillo Trail(right).
  • Turn around at bottom of Camarillo Trail back up to Serrano Ridge Trail(left)
  • Serrano Ridge Trail under Rte 73 to Upper Laurel Canyon Trail(left)
  • Laurel Canyon Trail to Laurel Spur(right)
  • Laurel Spur to Lizard Trail(right)
  • Lizard Trail to Bommer Ridge Trail(right)
  • Bommer Ridge to Pacific Ridge Trailhead.
Approximate Distance: 8.4 miles

Please be aware of bikes on Lizard and Camarillo Trail.

A shorter option
- Pacific Ridge Trailhead to Bommer Ridge

  • Bommer Ridge Trail to Lizard Trail(1st left)
  • Lizard Trail to Laurel Spur(left)
  • Laurel Spur to Upper Laurel Canyon Trail (left)
  • Continue on Upper Laurel Canyon Trail under Rte 73 to Serrano Ridge Trail(right) to Camarillo Trail(right).
Turn around at Camarillo Trail
  • back on Serrano Ridge Trail under Rte 73 to Upper Laurel Canyon Trail(left)
  • Upper Laurel Canyon Trail to Laurel Spur(right)
  • Laurel Spur to Lizard Trail(right)
  • Lizard Trail to Bommer Ridge Trail(right) to Pacific Ridge Trailhead.
