This route loops through the San Mateo Canyon
Wilderness leading to the summit of Sitton Peak. The steepest stretch of trail the section leading to the summit, 💥trekking poles are nice to have here 💥The top is marked by a hand-painted sign reading "Sitton Peak Elev: 3,273". 💥It is recommended to wear pants💥
since some sections of the trail can be overgrown.👖🥾🧢
