Please join us for a hike through Fairview, Talbert and Canyon Parks in Beautiful Costa Mesa. This hike is relaxed, and the terrain is easy.
This hike is for humans. Please leave your pets at home.

## Meet and Greet at the Fairview Park Kiosk 8:50 AM.
## Hike Briefing/Stretching at 8:55 AM.
## The hike departs promptly at 9:00 AM.
## If you arrive late or otherwise choose to do this walk on your own, just follow the directions detailed below.
Difficulty: If you can walk at least 6 miles in under 2 hours, you should be able to do this hike.
Pace: Relaxed - About 22 - 25 minutes/mile
Distance: About 5 - 6 miles.
Terrain: This is a mix of paved paths, concrete sidewalks and smooth dirt trails. Essentially flat, with one small (<100 feet) staircase.

Description: From the meeting spot (shown in the main photo for this posting), we will head through Fairview Park and loop around toward Talbert Park, then continue on to Canyon Park, make another big loop and return back to our starting point.
Sometimes we may see some wildlife: coyotes, hawks, squirrels, bunny wabbits, and if we are very lucky, maybe a snake or a tarantula.
Parking: There is free parking in Fairview Park. GPS Address: 2525 Placentia Avenue, Costa Mesa, CA
Facilities: There is no restroom at the start of this hike, but there is a restroom stop about 10 minutes into this hike. We will pass by this same restroom again toward the end of the hike.
What to bring: Water, maybe a snack or lunch, sunglasses, sturdy hiking shoes, maybe hiking poles if you have them, a hat or umbrella, a happy attitude and a big smile!
