Glendora Wilderness Hike (Level 2, 2+ Moderate)

Details

We will start the hike at the Poop Out trail. This is a very steep climb for one mile until you reach the flagpole. We can take a break at the flagpole. We will then continue on the Lower Monroe Truck trail.

There are two ways to continue. One is the shorter but challenging way by going up on the Punk Out Trail after 1/4 mile on the Lower Monroe Truck trail. This is a steep but short way (0.6 mile) until you meet the Lower Monroe Truck Trail again. The other way is the longer (1.5 mile) but easier way by going up the Lower Monroe Trail until you meet the end of Punk Out Trail.

We will take a break at the intersection of Lower Monroe Truck trail and Punk Out Trail. Then we will continue on the Lower Monroe Truck Trail for about 2 miles until you reach a large clearing. This is our turn around point.

On the way back, we will go back down to the flagpole. Then we will go down on the Mystic Canyon Trail until we meet the Big Dalton Road. Then we will walk along the Big Dalton Road for about 3/4 mile back to the parking lot.

Bring at least 3 liters of water, sunscreen and hat. There is very little shade on the trail.
